Terms & Conditions [Courses L&D]
By booking a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the following terms and conditions:

[01:] General conditions
Completing the booking process forms a legally binding contract between the participant and AsafYaacobi.
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to enroll.
All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.

[02:] Course fee and payment
Full payment of the course fee is required to secure a place on the course. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card and bank transfer.
For company [B2B] bookings, invoice terms & prices may be provided upon request. Payment must be completed before the course start date. If payment is not received, the booking may be canceled.

[03:] Confirmation
Upon receipt of payment, a booking confirmation and joining instructions (including platform login details) will be sent via email.
If the course is fully booked, or if the minimum participant threshold is not reached, a full refund will be provided.

[04:] Cancellations and refunds by participant
You may cancel your booking by providing written notice via email within 14 calendar days after the booking date for a full refund, provided the course has not started and you have not accessed any course materials, in accordance with the German Fernabsatzgesetz (Distance Selling Act) and related consumer protection laws. If you access course materials or the course commences during the statutory cancellation period, you waive your right to a full refund, and no refund will be provided for any portion already delivered.
Cancellation requests will not be accepted within 7 days before the course start date. After the 14-day cancellation period, and/or once the course has started, no refunds will be granted except at the sole discretion of AsafYaacobi, or if otherwise required by law.
Please note that cancellations are subject to a 10% fee to cover handling and processing costs. This fee supports the administrative efforts and reserved resources associated with your registration.

[05:] Transfers and substitutions
You may request to transfer your booking to a future course date or substitute another participant, provided you notify AsafYaacobi at least 7 days before the course starts, subject to availability and approval. Transfers or substitutions requested within 7 days of the course start date may not be possible and may incur an administrative fee.
[06:] Cancellations and changes by provider
AsafYaacobi reserves the right to change course dates, duration, tutor, or content. Notice will be given as soon as reasonably practicable. If the course is canceled by AsafYaacobi, a full refund of the course fee will be issued. No further liability will be accepted.
[07:] Access to materials
Access to course materials is granted exclusively to the registered participant and is not transferable under any circumstances. Sharing, distributing, reproducing, or reselling any course content, including videos, documents, templates, or login credentials, is strictly prohibited. Participants are not permitted to share their login details or allow access to any third party. Such actions will be considered a breach of agreement and may result in immediate removal from the course without refund. The provider reserves the right to pursue legal action in cases of copyright infringement or contractual violations.

Access to the course content is limited to the active course period and, where applicable, for a defined period after the course concludes, for example thirty days. Continued access beyond this timeframe requires prior written approval from the provider. Any unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of course materials may result in legal liability in accordance with applicable intellectual property and contract laws.

[08:] Participation and Access Requirements
To participate effectively in the course, each participant must have a desktop or laptop with a current operating system (Windows 10/11 or macOS Monterey or later), a stable high-speed internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps), and basic software such as a word processor, PDF reader, media player, and any course-specific tools. A webcam and microphone are required for live sessions, with a wired headset preferred, ideally with a dual-screen setup.
Participants should have basic digital skills, including managing files, using office software, navigating online platforms, using email for communication, and participating in virtual meetings (via Zoom or Teams). Before the course begins, participants are responsible for testing their setup. While limited technical support may be available, it is the participant’s responsibility to meet all technical requirements.

[09:] Equipment and Installation Disclaimer
Our courses are designed to provide knowledge, practical skills, and professional know-how. We do not supply any hardware, software, or licenses as part of the course. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that their equipment, software installations, and internet connection meet the technical requirements needed to take part in the course.
We do not accept liability for any issues related to hardware, software installation, system performance, or connectivity on the participant’s side. The course fee covers access to live or recorded online sessions and related learning materials only.

[10:] Code of conduct
By enrolling in the course, participants agree to engage in a respectful, professional, and inclusive manner. Any form of harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or misuse of course platforms is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the course without refund. Participants are expected to attend sessions, complete assignments, and maintain academic integrity by submitting original work.
All personal and confidential information shared during the course must be treated with discretion and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
The provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any violations of this code and may pursue legal action if necessary.

[11:] Data protection
Personal data will only be used for course administration and marketing with consent, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Federal Data Protection Act). Participants have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their data.
[12:] Governing law and jurisdiction
This policy and any contractual relationships between participants and AsafYaacobi shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract shall be Munich, Germany, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.
